HAPPY APRIL FOOLS!
and I'M FINALLY 14 YEARS OLD! um, i mean, i'm 14 yesterday(:
yesterday was one of the days that rock my life. firstly, i have friends that rock my day, and um, apperantly my life too(: secondly, i have the classiest and best birthday dinner ever. ate at the 6oth story. high huh?(: lastly, liverpool won arsenal! 4-1!
okay. i'm gonna blog about yesterday, my birthday.
my parents are really busy. grr. they even went to work on my bday and it's a saturday. you know whenever i called my mum, she's always not around and her secretary always picks up the phone and she will be like "sorry judy is not around now, she's having a meeting. may i know who are you? i'll tell her to call you back later." okay. look, im speechless.
went to eat lunch at macdonalds with shirli. hahah. and then went home and chatted on msn. friends wishing me happy bday, even joseph! and i have the most hilarious and comedian-ish friends. they rock! love you guys!
finally, my mom came back from work and we cabbed to the UOB plaza for dinner. too bad my dad couldn't make it as he has something cropped up T.T
had to change lifts at the 38th story. ohmygod air pressure. my ears feel like dropping off. took the other lift to the 60th story. yay! wow my mom actually made reservations. we sat near the window. ohmygod ohmygod the scenery is so so so so so beautiful. all the street lights and the cars. i could see the whole of the esplanade from on top. well practically i could see a quater of singapore's night view. it's a whole lot nicer than mount faber, a whole lot .
well anyways, first dish was the three combined dishes or whatever it's called. they were all in this chilli plate. the salad prawn, dang it was the softest and the best salad prawn ever. i felt like eating thousands of it but i could only eat 2 pieces of it, as there's only 6 pathetic pieces of prawns. can't help it. it's quality food. and there's this thing, um i don't really know what it is, well neither do my mom nor my brother too. hahah. but i know it's some kind of meat as it's kind of meaty when you chew on it. dang dang dang luh. i want more of those! but grr, i could only take 2 pieces as there's only 6 pieces. grrrr.
next we had sharksfin((: yummmmm. okay i'm getting hungry right now blogging about it.
after that we had fish and prawns! aaahhh! can't help it! i digged in right after the waitress served the fish and prawns. ohmygod i actually took one whole big slice of fish. the fish was extremely yummy okay. dang luh! and the prawns, gosh. marvellous.
the best fried rice, served with brocoli, is what a last dish that can fulfill my dinner. i ate 3 bowls of fried rice. yups. YEAH!
ate fruits and off to pay the bill. $176+ is the amount. quite worthit though. among it was $10 for service, $10 for the chinese tea which i thought it was free and i seriously regretted not heeding my mom's advice of drinking more of it as she kept on telling me that we need to pay for the chinese tea but i didn't care as i thought it was free. $4 for the peanuts and chilli. zzz. took my last view of how it's like to see the city from the 60th story.
went to the Liverpool Fan Club to catch the last 10 minutes of the liv-arsnl match. everyone was wearing red. we just came on time to see crouch score on the 80+ minute. the atmosphere was great. you know once crouch scored, everyone inside and outside the liverpool fan club, and well actually the whole of clark quay, shouted "GOAL!!" and followed by "WHOOHOOOS" and claps. watched and watched until the match ended. liv 4-1 arsnl. everyone clapped and the people inside the liverpool fan club sang the liverpool song while holding on to the liverpool banner.
When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high,
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm,
There's a golden sky,
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Though your dreams be tossed and blown...
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone...
You'll never walk alone.
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone...
You'll never walk alone
went home after that.
